WARNING! This post has a lot of pictures!
Our Yearly Informal Family Reunion (YIFR) at the South Umpqua Falls was another a great success. We took over our usual spot at the Boulder Creek Campground. Our total number of campers peaked out at 47 uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends, despite that fact that we were missing quite a few regulars (Sheldon's crew, Heidi's family, uncle Terry, Jeff, Hilary and Greg, etc.). I took so many pictures, I decided to make this mainly a "picture post" with some captions. Enjoy!
Our first day camping and Alex is already wearing his camping face!
This isn't even from a full day of dirt, because we didn't show up at the Boulder Creek campground until 2:00 in the afternoon. We would have been there earlier, but after I got the car packed and Alex buckled in, I went to start the car and it was DEAD! Ack! It turns out that when I was packing the night before, Alex turned on the ceiling lights, which stayed on all night, and ran the battery down. Paul took a little break from work and came home to give us a jump, and then we were on our way.

Alex was so excited when "Gah-gee" (how he says Dominic) finally showed up at 8:00pm. He was pretending that this piece of rope was a snake climbing on Dom's head.
Zi-Zi brought this cool pop-open dog house for her dog Lucy, but think the boys spent more time in it than the dog. :)
Our second day of camping and some key campsites finally opened up, so we moved Sari and Andrew to a different site, as well as Kathy and Mike. This is the Henderson's tent.
While they were moving the tent, I strolled back to their site to see what I could help carry, and Look what I found! A free baby! Gracie was just chilling out by herself. Isn't she a cutie?!They were very proud of themselves for climbing this stump without any help.
The three little 2-year-olds trying to climb this fallen log just like Mathias. (Front to Back: Alex, Annie, Dominic, Mathias).
L to R: Andrew, Sari (in the back) and Kathy, moving Kathy and Mike's bug screen.
Dominic and Alex eating broccoli like dinosaurs.
Sitting on this green crate seemed like a great idea, which turned into an excellent idea when Naomi joined the picture by posing behind them. It turned into a fatal mistake when they both leaned against her and then she walked away unknowingly...
AHHHHH! They fell off the crate backwards into a pile of arms, legs, and tears! LOL! Everyone was making fun of me because I stopped to take a picture before I helped them up. You would have done the same! It was hilarious!
Alex loved the foam swords that Sari brought. Dominic is in the background playing with his beloved tractor.
I can't remember why Alex was so sad in this picture...I think he was just getting tired.
Notice the sword is stuffed down the back of Alex's shirt. This was just one of the sword-fighting techniques that Bran so willingly shared with Alex.
Paul and Dominic collecting fire wood. Alex was helping too, but he was much to fast for me to get a picture of him.
Zizi shared her pinchers with Dominic and ALex. They walked all over camp carefully picking up rocks and pinecones and sticks and.... (Top photo: Dominic, Bottom photo: Alex)
