A Post for Greg

Paul's youngest sister, Dana, was married in the Portland, Oregon Temple on January 3rd, 2009 to Scott Thomasy. It was a beautiful ceremony and they looked very happy together. Here are some pictures from the temple.

Here is the only picture I took of Dana's dress...I'm not sure why it is the only one.

Here's a close up of Scott. Scott is a very nice guy. For many of us, it was the first time we met him. We got to hang out with him and his family the night before the wedding, and found that they are all really great people. Scott has a twin sister and no other siblings. He is pretty quiet, but seems like a jokester. I think he is 25 or 26 years old...he served a mission somewhere...and he and Dana are living in Idaho somewhere...where Scott is attending school. (OK, so I have a bad memory! Rub it in why don't you!)Here is Anastasia the camera-lady. She took all of the wedding pictures and they turned out great! It looks like she fell asleep while taking this picture.

Here are my handsome fellas!

Alex loves to hang upside down.

AND, last but not least, here is the envelope that they gave Scott and Dana at the temple. It is supposed to hold their wedding certificate and a picture of the temple and other important papers. Notice the names....hahaha!

9 months old!

Alex is 9 months old. He had his check-up today and is growing like a weed! Here are the stats:
Weight: 21 lbs 8 oz
Height: 28.5 inches
Head Circumference: 18.25 inches

Here are some pictures taken on our trip up to Portland last weekend.

In the car on the ride home. Gotta love those pretzels!

The serious Alex at Dana's wedding.

Excited Alex because mommy has the camera out

.
This was taken at Omsi in the baby area. There was a fish tank built into the wall, so Paul got some pictures of Alex from the other side, looking through the tank.

And, here he is crawling on some priceless fossils...haha.

He is growing so fast! I keep thinking to myself...and last year at this time he was in my tummy and I didn't know his name or what he would look like! It is crazy how time flys by.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year at my parent's house. Alex and Dom were not quite excited about their first christmas as we were, but they did humor us a little when they opened their first presents. After that, it was time for naps and they slept through most of the present opening extravaganza.

Here is Alex opening his very first Christmas present! Doesn't he look thrilled! This was the ONLY present that he was willing to help rip the paper off of...

Proof that even real men can get excited over a surprise present! On a side note, Paul is the WORST person to buy present for (aside from John), because he ALWAYS guesses what it is! It is VERY difficult to surprise him, but with a lot of hard work, creative wrapping, and a little luck, it can be done. Here is proof.

Dominic is just thrilled with his new puzzle! As soon as he got the wrapper off, he started chucking the peices at his mom's head. He has a very good throwing arm and throws almost every toy he can get his hands on. It is really cute and funny.

Here is the whole gang! We had a hard time getting the babies to look at the camera, so Daniel is snapping his fingers and Gramps is making weird sounds, but all they did was stare at the noise makers.

And, finally, here is Alex a few days before Christmas sitting in his first snow drift. Okay, so there wasn't very much, but I sat him in it anyway just to see what he would do. He imeadiatly started crawling right in to a patch of mud...I know it was not as impressive as the Saunder's snow pictures, but it was all we had!
