Blast from the Past

Do you think Paul still would have fell in love with me in high school if I had looked like this?
Maybe if I had a chin job... my nose needs some adjusting as well. But, I do have nice hair.

I must say that Paul is still hot in a grungy/dreamy sort of way...but his neck has some sort of weird tumor... We would definitly need to have that removed.

ALL the girls are going to be in love with this handsome fella when he is in high school!

Actually, he really makes me think of my brother Daniel. I guess it's because Daniel likes to make this facial expression a lot.

Daddy's Dinner

The other night, Alex decided he was ready to eat real food. We, of course, wouldn't give it to him. So, he took matters into his own hands when he thought no one was looking.

SoniToy

I was trying to finish a editing project and was getting close to the deadline...Alex was wanting to play...so, I turned on the Sonicare toothbrush and he was quite entertained for the time it took me to finish working. :)

We discovered some months ago that this toothbrush was a great way to get Alex to calm down when he was crying at night when it was time for bed. Now, every time we brush our teeth he goes crazy trying to grab it a pull it into his own mouth. It is really funny. He absolutely LOVES it. The first time we he bit onto it while it was vibrating, he kind of twitched and jerked away because it tickled so bad...now he is a pro and can just gnaw on it with no problem.

Army Crawl

Alex is on the verge of crawling. He gets up on his hands and knees and sort of launches himself forward. But, his favorite way to move is by pulling himself with his arms. It is really cute to watch, especially when he is naked, because he moves so much faster.

Of course the downfall of all this, is that he is already finding cool things to play with...

Checking the email...
(of course he was pounding on the keyboard and ripped off the letter "N" in a matter of seconds. It took Paul an hour to fix. ;)

Putting in a movie to watch...

I was changing his diaper and went to find a clean one. When I came back he had escaped to the VCR. He was sticking his thumb in and out of the little door flap thingy... He was so proud of himself.

Isn't he cute? It was taken 8/14/08. Alex had just discovered his feet during this week and became obsessed with grabbing them...I admit this shot was posed...he was really good at grabbing one foot, but Paul thought it would be really cute if he grabbed both feet.
Thanks to this new found talent, he now sucks on his big toe. :)
