Rice Cereal

Alex's first experience with Rice Cereal went over pretty well...

I think he likes it!

OK, so really, that picture was taken after his second dinner of rice cereal, and to be fair, he was really tired and had already eaten almost the whole dish.

This was actually the first time he ate it. Yes, I know he is crying again, but I hadn't even gotten the spoon in his mouth and they were definitely tears of excitement! I mean, who wouldn't be excited...4 1/2 months of a solid liquid diet...you might cry too if you were about to eat food for the first time!

As you can see, the minute I put the cereal in his mouth, he imeadiatly grabbed the spoon. He is a very feisty eater! If you don't dish it out fast enough he gets really mad and starts attacking his fists and his bib and anything else he can get a hold of.

He loves to suck on his fingers right after I give him a bite.

Here is Daddy feeding him for the first time (Alex's second time). Now, this picture ends with the first picture I showed you of Alex crying...don't worry I didn't let him scream that long, just long enough to get a really quick picture to show his future girlfriends.
