Oh there were so, so many great pictures to choose from that I went a little crazy and posted as many as I deemed necessary to document our annual Umpqua camping trip. Enjoy!
Alex sitting in his new Lion Camping Chair ( I got it for a steal! $8!), while Mommy is packing for the trip. Story of the Chair: Went to random store (Rogue River Pharmacy) and found the LAST two lion chairs available for $14.00 each. After much debate, and a phone call to Molly, I decided to buy both of them. I went to the register and the lady asked me if they were on sale. I said, "I'm not sure. Everything else over there is on sale except for these. It would be really great if they were on sale though." So, she asks a co-worker to go check. While she is off checking, another co-worker walks by, so the first lady asks the 2nd co-worker if she knows if they are on sale. 2nd co-worker says, "No, I don't think so." Just when I was about to give up hope, the first co-worker comes back and says, "All i found was a sign for $7.99, but it doesn't say if it is on sale or not." Then the 2nd co-worker says, "No, they are not on sale." Both of the co-workers walk away, and the lady at the cash register says, "I'll just give them to you for 8$ each. It will be our secret." Oh, I just love secrets! and GOOD DEALS!
Left to Right: Heidi's twins (hubba, hubba!), Alex, Preston, and (in back) Lilly, Maria, and Mia.
ALex and Presto are having a blast throwing rocks, while Heidi's twins are catching some sun!
Aren't they cute! Molly and Dominic checking out the water.
Alex, checking out Presto's lunch..."Hmmmm, how can I get some of that?"
" I'll just take some gold fish while he's busy with the fruit...hehehe"
"Quick! Eat them before anyone notices!"
AHHHHH! MOlly Monster is on the loose! Look out Dominic!
OK, so she is really not that scary, but now every time Alex sees a picture of her he growls like a monster. :)
Dominic searching for the "just right" rock.
Mariah lookin' good!
Annie in her floating chariot.
Baywatch Babe! (Hilary)
Princess Fiona
Happy family: Molly, John and Dominic (notice the mirror image smiles on John and Dom's faces)
Angry Presto

Contemplative Bran. "To get in the cold water, or not to get in the cold water...that is the question."
Alex wearing Gramsi's sun hat. I've never seen a boy so obsessed with hats, but once he gets ahold of one he won't keep it on his head for more than 10 seconds.
Sad Presto again...I don't know why I have so many pictures of him crying...I don't remember him crying this much.
Dominic and his Daddy, hunting for the perfect skipping rock.
Ok, so here's the Presto i remember...clutching the truck that caused him so much pain...yes, I remember now why he was crying...the sacred truck had to be shared.
Dominic finally found that rock he was looking for.
Lucy and Rochelle taking a dip! And I thought she got the life jacket to help Lucy float...that handle sure is useful though.
Cool shades dude! (Alex)
Rochelle taking Lucy for a spin in the boat.
Alex and Mommy having a snuggle!
Molly with the sleeping Dominic.
Dan reading his book while Lucy takes a snooze.
Heather in all her sunny glory!
Mystery person...Can anyone guess who this is?
Auntie Rosie and the purple cast.

I don't know who this tube belongs to, but Alex LOVED it. He carried it around all day, and when any of the other kids tried to take it he was very upset.

It was just the right size for a little man. :)

Checkin' out a crawdad: L to R Nuala, Mathias, Bran, & Mia

Mia showing of her crawdad.

Presto and the sacred truck. He is doing his cute little monster walk while "riding" the truck.

Mia, Lilly, & KK

KK dumped the crawdad in the sand to add a little excitement. Alex is clapping, because he is performing a trick and is very proud of it. As you will see in the next picture, he has one foot up on the tube and one on the sand...very tricky.

L to R (going around the circle): KK, Bran, Nuala, Mia, Presto, and Alex.

"What's that on your face...?"

Dominic sleeping in his kangaroo pouch.

Alex loved swimming, especially when Mommy made him jump/fly in and out of the water.

He just giggled and giggled with delight. IT was so cute. Too bad the water was so cold.

Justin, pushing Alex and Lilly out in the boat.

Alex and Lilly going for a ride. We would just sit on the shore and push the boat out and then pull it back in with the rope. The kids loved it.

Alex and McKenna driving trucks on a rock at our campsite.

L to R: Molly, Hunter, Ben, Jeff, & Heidi

I was trying to get ready to head out to the beach for the day, and Molly was entertaining Alex and Dominic in our tent by reading to them. Alex was so tired he just fell asleep on the air mattress.

Dominic wearing Grandpa Dan's hat.

Grandpa Dan and Dominic.

Annie and Alex playing with a bucket of water and balls. They would dunk the balls under water and then pull them out really fast so the water would fly everywhere. They were laughing so hard. It was really cute.

Alex and Mommy

Molly and Dominic *yawn*

"Oooh a mountain to climb!"

Annie in her banana life jacket and Sari

Robyn and a sleepy, snugly Alex.

Presto hanging out in a tube with the sacred truck (of course!).

Fiona, Bran and Nuala trying to keep warm.

Lilly and Alex soaking in the hot tub.

Molly and Dominic

Alex learning how to roast marshmallows. He was so pleased with himself...

...especially when he got to eat the fruits of his labor (which for the record lasted about 10 seconds). :)

Gavin showing Alex how it's done.

Alex and Mommy sliding off the mini-falls. Alex thought it was really fun. He even enjoyed floating down the little current below the falls. If the water wasn't so cold, he probably would have stayed in all day.

Going all day with out a nap can be tragic.

Justin, checking his eyelids for holes...

L to R: Fiona, Nuala, Rosie, Heidi, Mia, Mariah and Lilly sliding down on the tube

Mommy and Alex

"Fat man in a little coat" Alex was very pleased with his huge graham cracker.

Morgan and McKenna roasting marshmallows with Alex.

Dominic, falling asleep after about 1 minute in the car to drive back to camp from the Falls.

Dominic in our fancy high-chair, eating dinner with Molly. I can't remember if her food was hot, or if someone farted...
On that note, I hope you enjoyed all the pictures. It was a full-time job, just trying to keep Dominic and Alex out of the fire. They loved the fact that they got to "live" outside. Of course, this meant they woke up more often at night, but Molly and I are used to it. If fact, we tend to sleep through the crying a little bit, as we found out from our fellow campers who claimed that the babies would cry "forever" before we quieted them. I am sure that was just an exaggeration though. :)
