Here is our adorable new adition at five weeks old! And, the big brother who is 2 1/2!Alex absolutly LOVES "baby Austy" as he calls him. The other day Sari asked Alex if she could keep his baby. Alex scowled at her and pointed at Gracie and said, "dat baby yours."
He loves to snuggle with Austin which sometimes gets a little rough, but he means well.
Can anyone say, "Deer in the headlights!"?
Sleeping with his eyes open is a favorite pastime.
The other night I was sitting on the floor in the living room watching TV. Austin was laying on the floor directly in front of me waving his arms and kicking his legs happily. Suddenly, he started screaming (like he does when Alex accidently kicks him or sits on him, except that Alex was in bed and no one had even touched Austin). I was trying to soothe him but he wouldn't calm down. I was thinking it was a big gas bubble or something. Then I realized his fist was clamped down on a handful of hair on his head. The more he screamed the harder he pulled! LOL! It was very difficult to extract his sticky little fingers from his super-soft hair, but as soon as I did he stopped screaming. Poor little fella! (OK, I try not to laugh when my kids hurt themselves, but sometimes it is just plain funny!)

ROFL!!!! oh man! that's funny. I never had any incidents where dominic hurt himself that young accidentally and couldn't fix it himself. LOL I always heard of it though. too funny.

Oh my gosh! Someone told me their kids would wake themselves up 'cause they'd pull their own hair. Poor things!!! He's so cute. Oh my gosh, that deer in the head lights expression, Scarlet gets it all the time, it's so funny. He's such a little cutie. Are we on for Thursday? Greg said something about that, but I don't know if it's set in stone. I would love to get out of the house and I would just plain love to see you guys!
He's so cute I want to eat him up! Shannon used to pull her hair out when she was mad...but she was a few months older. Poor Austy. His Gramsi is always flashing the camera at him so no wonder the deer in the headlights thing!
Funny story.
